Panda, guinea pig by Blue-Paper Panda, guinea pig by Blue-Paper
I folded this model as a tribute to my adorable guinea pig Panda, who is sadly no longer with us...

Designed and folded by me from one uncut square of paper.

How do you make it?

By folding paper :U

A question like that can't be answered thoroughly within the confines of a reply. There is far too much that is done to just say "oh its easy. Here's how:..."

Technically yes, I do have diagrams for my guinea pig, however I do not have diagrams for this variation of the design.

Even so, the diagrams are not freely available, however they are published in the 2009 origami collection [link]*U00Xr7&next=10&product=Origami_USA_Publications (couldn't find a link directly to it :B )

BUT I should warn you, it is NOT a simple model. It is deceivingly complex and requires a few difficult maneuvers. So if you aren't an experienced folder it may not be the best model to start learning origami with.

I apologize and I'm sorry for your loss but I do not freely distribute my diagrams. Nor do I even have diagrams for this particular variation.

AAAwww...I fell in love with this because WE had a much-beloved guinea pig also and you managed to capture the expression and body-pose so well. The nose/jaw is particularly delightful.

Sorry to hear about your guinea pig. Unfortunately we lost ours a couple of days ago. But this is a very sweet tribute. Great job on the head - especially the nose and the jaw.

Excellent. Good works always come from the heart, the attention and love you give your subjects is very important, and you've expressed it well in this piece.
